I launched eVIPlist.com, a party and event portal, in 1999. Where the very beginning of the internet intersected with the very beginning of the mega clubs stage in Washington DC which I dubbed "The Golden Era". Meaning the golden era of DC nightlife. During this early time period DC had DC Live (3000 person capacity), Dream (4000), Fur (3500), Ibiza (3000), VIP Club (3000), Love (4000), H2O (2500), Ozio (1500), Zanzibar (2500), 1223 (1500), Home (2500) and the smallest being Pearl (1000). Not to mention all the many lounges and smaller venues. That's approximately 30K to 40K people going out every weekend in the DMV. But that's not the only attribute that contributed to the success of The Golden Era. It was also the events and the celebrities that came to the city to party, celebrate and have a good time. BackThenWhen.com is photographic memories that I collected of YOU and some of your favorite celebrities over last 25 years in the party business. I hope you enjoy.
